hydrated Lime Plant

Hydrated lime has a variety of uses in industrial applications like water treatment, building, waste gas treatment soil stabilization, etc. The hydration process consists in an exotherm reaction between lime and water. The process is performed through a stage of hydrator.
Hydrated lime is produced when quicklime is carefully mixed with water to yielding hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2), also known as slaked lime or calcium hydroxide. This process forms a very fine white powder that is very useful in a number of applications, especially asphalt.
Hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide) is a dry, colorless crystalline powder manufactured by treating calcium oxide (quicklime) with water, in a process called “slaking.” Also known as slack lime, builders lime or pickling lime, hydrated lime is used in the production of mortars, plasters, cements, paints, hard rubber products, petrochemicals, and in the tanning of leather.
